Email Setup
Outlook Express

Step 1
Getting Started

Open Outlook Express, then click "Tools > Accounts.."

Internet Accounts

With the "Mail" tab selected, click "Add..."

Internet Accounts

Select "Mail" from the pop-up menu.

Step 4
Your Name

Enter your First and Last name.

Click the "Next" button.

Step 5
Internet Email Address

Enter your email address.

Click the "Next" button.

Step 6
Email Server Names

Be sure that "POP3" is selected for the incoming server.

The incoming and outgoing Server name will always be mail.oldno19.com no matter whose mailbox you are configuring.

Click the "Next" button.

Step 7
Internet Mail Logon

Enter your email address in the "Account name" field.

Enter your password.

Click the "Next" button.

Step 8
Congratulations!

Actually, you're only half-way done, but you're doing great!

Verify that all the information is entered correctly, then click the "Finish" button to close the dialog box and continue.

Server Settings

With the new account selected, click on the "Properties" button.

Server Properties

In the window that pops up, make sure the "Servers" tab is selected, then click the checkbox next to "My server requires authentication".

Click on the "Settings" button.

Server Properties

Select the "Log on using" option.

IMPORTANT: your User Name is NOT the same as your email address. DO NOT use the "@" symbol here, use a "." (period) instead, as illustrated in the image on the left. This is necessary for your email account to work properly.

Enter your password, and then click "OK".

Step 12
Server Properties

Select the "Advanced" tab at the top.

Under "Incoming mail (POP3)", click the checkbox next to "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)".

Click "OK".

Step 13
That's it, You're Done!

Click "Close" to begin using your new email account in Outlook Express.
